Principal’s Message

Dr. B.B.A. Government Polytechnic, Karad (D.P.) was established in November 1994. Institute has successfully completed 25 years in the field of Technical Education.The Polytechnic Campus is located on the bank of the River Daman Ganga, at Karad (D.P.), Via Rakholi, Silvassa. The campus is spread over 17.73 Hectares of land.

Today it has grown to one of the premier institutes of the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli with more than 1000 students in Seven different branch of Engineering at Diploma level (i.e. Civil, Computer, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, Information Technology, Mechanical engineering and Textile Manufacturing and Technology). The Institute provides a disciplined, conducive and professional environment for academics and research with a team of qualified and experienced faculties.

Along with the academic activities, the institute is committed to the overall development of the students. Industrial training, industrial visits, symposia, short term training programs, workshops, seminar expert lectures are taken up as a part of an academic calendar. Students are encouraged to organize and participate in sports activities, cultural programs, technical festivals and social welfare activities etc.

As a being institute offering Diploma courses in the field of professional education, we are committed to providing a learning base academic environment to our students. This, in turn, will equip the students with technical knowledge and skill to increase their competency and will transform the students to qualified professionals. We understand the expectations of the society, government and affiliating university from us as being institutes offering technical education and accordingly, we are committed to continuous improvement in the teaching-learning process.
